Yum Yum Sauce Recipe ヤムヤムソースの作り方 | OCHIKERON

Yum Yum Sauce is the sauce served at Japanese steakhouse restaurant overseas. Actually, not known in Japan. Perfect for dipping or drizzling. With grilled shrimp, chicken, vegetables, or drizzled over a plate of fried rice, etc.

It lasts for a week in the fridge but I wouldn't stock too much because it is easy to make with ingredients on hand.

Time: 3 min

Number of servings: 4

Ingredients:

1/2 US cup (120ml) mayonnaise *use Kewpie mayo if you can

1 tbsp. vinegar

1/2 tbsp. melted butter

1 tsp. tomato paste

1 tsp. sugar

1/4 tsp. garlic powder

*I found on the net that the original sauce is made with tomato ketchup. But I think it is rich and tasty with tomato paste.
